- Born Diana Michelle Smirnoff on May 25, 1990 in Brooklyn, New York.
- She has one older brother Aleksander who is 20
- Along with Aleks they are first generation Russian/Americans
- She's always been very out going and was able to make friends very easily as a child
- She started dancing at the age of three and has become quite accomplished in ballet and contemporary.
- She took two years worth of hip hop classes mostly to please Aleks but in the end she actually enjoyed them.
- She met Dru and Austin Griffin in the dance classes and she and Austin very quickly became best friends.
- She's afraid to admit to anyone especially Austin himself that her feelings for him go much deeper than just friendship.
- When her dad told her that he was being transferred to Toronto she was VERY unhappy about having to transfer to a new school early on in her senior year of high school and leave all of her friends.
- The hardest person by far for her to leave however was Austin. They had gotten even closer after the death of Austin's parents. She spent her last night in NYC curled up in Austin's arms crying.
- She and Austin kept in touch the entire time she was gone and frankly her phone bill was sky high every month which cause many arguments with her parents.
- She graduated from high school in May of this year right before her parents divorced and her mom moved them back to Brooklyn.
- As bad as it may sound she was actually somewhat glad when they divorced because that meant they wouldn't be screaming at each other all the time.
- When her mom told her that she was moving them back to NYC she was VERY excited and happy though she would have been going back anyway this fall because she had been accepted into Juliard on a full scholarship for her ballet skills.
- She hopes to get an apartment with Austin soon while she is at Juliard and he is at NYU.
